An Education Budget Seminar titled "Education for All" was held under the auspices of the Mustafavi Students Movement. The speakers at the seminar demanded that the education budget be increased to 5%. They emphasized the need for providing youth with information technology and technical education.

Speaking at the seminar, senior journalist Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami stated that for development, children need to be directed towards technical education. With thirty million children out of school, bringing them into the school system is a major challenge. The youth needs quality education, he said.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, MQI Secretary General, said in his remarks that increasing the education budget will improve the state of the education sector, and it is essential to promote modern research along with high-quality education.

Senior analyst Orya Maqbool Jan mentioned that the ideological foundation of the State of Madinah was based on knowledge and welfare. He said that prosperity, development, and revolution in nations' lives can only come through education. The Constitution of Pakistan grants every child the right to free and compulsory education, he noted.

President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce Kashif Anwar said that no country can progress without education, and the primary focus of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's MQI is the promotion of education and training. He congratulated the leaders of the Mustafavi Students Movement for highlighting the importance of education in the context of the budget in the seminar.

In his welcome address, Central MSM President Sheikh Farhan Aziz said that all resources must be utilized to bring millions of children aged 5 to 16 into schools. He said educational institutions must be made drug-free, and 5% of GDP should be spent on education.

Renowned economist Asad Ijaz Butt said that obtaining quality education is every student's right and the primary teaching of Islam. He said education for all is very necessary, and this right should be given to everyone.

Other leaders, including Farrukh Shahbaz Warraich, Naveed Nadir Magsi, Rana Usman, and Haider Saqi, while addressing the seminar, said that Pakistan's future is linked with higher education.

The seminar was attended by Mian Ansar Mahmood, Rashid Hussain Mustafavi, Ahmed Hassan Jatt, Osama Mushtaq, Aziz Alam, Faraz Hashmi, Mohsin Iqbal, and others.
