Lies on drone strikes

Most Pakistanis believe that the government continues to support drone attacks in private as was the practice of the previous government. Thanks to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s interviews, a large section of society has woken up to the fact that the PM did not take up the issue of drone strikes with the US president.

Ours is a spineless govt

Virtually all the people of Pakistan believe that the government’s recent vociferous condemnation of the drone attack that killed Hakeemullah Mehsud is just a performance meant to trick the citizenry into believing that the leaders are not colluding with the US government. Those at the helm have lost credibility in the estimation of the body politic.
